I have heard of people trying to take all kinds of things onto airplanes like birds hidden in their socks, snakes hidden in their underwear, and various illegal items taped to their body. But never have I heard of anyone trying to smuggle a corpse onto a plane, until yesterday!

A few days ago I read where two women were arrested at Liverpool's John airport "on suspicion of failing to give notification of death" of a 91-year old man. And these women were serious about getting this cadaver on that flight too!  They placed the man, a relative, into a wheelchair and covered his face with sunglasses in a bid to get him aboard the flight to Berlin. They have not been charged, but the investigation continues. 

I hope that had him booked him into a window seat, or did they have him in first class?
