Still on the subject of guns, since the President put in his thoughts Wednesday.  I have talked to some gun owners about the shortage of ammunition.  Manufacturers are nearly a year behind on orders of most kinds of ammo and I wondered why. Apparently the gun owners fear a shortage and an artificial increase in prices due to government restrictions, so they are buying ahead.  Some order large amounts to insure they will have some and it will also be a saleable item in case they do not use it.  Many gunners have thousands of rounds of ammo in reserve.  I also inquired why the stock of ammo.  Apparently millions fear the government will attemps a gun takeover like they did in New York and are ready to do battle to keep their second ammendment rights.
