SAUGADUG, DOUGATUCK, SINGPORE, NEWARK.   

Take you choice, what should the new consolidated town be named. 

Those whos are trying to get this done boast that it will save money for both of the cities.  How much?  The biggest municipal expenditures are, police, fire and water and sewer--these are already joined together.  One street department, but twice as much territory requiring more personnel.  One governing body?  One Mayor?  Unless the salaries have really increased, that would save a couple hundred dollars.

I have not lived in Saugatuck for 28 years, but if I still lived there, I'd be signing Matt'S PETITION.  Let the people vote and live with the result
