A BEAUTIFUL CITY

I got word Sunday by email that Holland has won top honors in the National America in Blooms competition.  Holland was judged on seven criteria: overall impression, community involvement, environmental awareness, heritage, urban forestry, landscape, and floral displays, across three sectors: municipal, residential and commercial.

Many city employees, volunteers private home owners and our local Garden Club can take a bow. I applaud all of you.  

Now we know we are a beautiful city and a happy city.  This should stop all the complaining, 

RIGHT?
