DID YOU WORK YOUR WAY THROUGH COLLEGE?

Working your way through college may be near impossible at today's prices of tuition, lodging, books, etc.  The national average for a college education is $17,000.  More than a student can earn working summers. More than the student can borrow, unless parents do the borrowing.  For most it is not doable without a huge debt to pay off after graduation, IF a job is available.  Right now many grads are taking low paying jobs in hopes that something in the field they are trained for comes their way.  Many are taking a second look at college, perhaps beginning in a community college and then finishing in a college of choice.  

Collage will assure you of a higher wage throughout a lifetime.  Texas is working on a collage experience for less than $10,000.  Perhape this is the answer for many potential students.  Investigate all the posslible ways to finance your education, it will be worth it.
