the juke bo

Posted by Juke Van Oss on

A few weeks ago, I received a picture postcard in the mail, with a message relative to my program.  When I turned it over to look at the picture--there it was--the beautiful public library in Dowagiac, Michigan.  A flood of memories came back to me, as my highschool days did as well. I spent many hours in that library. I knew where to look for the books I liked to read, which in that period of my life were Westerns by Zane Grey and Max Brand--the comedy of Clarence Buddington Kelland and many others. The librarians knew me well and would save books for me.  One even signed my school yearbook.  I usually read at least three or four books a week, beside trying to keep up on my homework.  THE LIBRARY!  Have you checked Holland's Library

A world of knowledge awaits YOU.
