Last week I attended the funeral of my brother in Lansing. The services were held at a local funeral home, followed by a gathering at the First Baptist Church. The church is very close to the Capitol building and as I passed the Center of our State goverment, I noted a large crowd gathered there to protest the vote on the Right to Work Law. There was a lot of yelling, swearing and other evidence of unhappiness both inside and outside. I did not stay, since our funeral was more important, however I heard and read about it later. I would have to say, the crowd set a poor example for the school children that were there to see government in action.
