WATCHING THE CONVENTIONS.

It seems to be an exercise in futility.  Everybody knows who the winners will be and everybody spends lots of money just to have a party for the winners.  The old time conventions were much more exciting.  The expected winners did not always get the nomination.  There would be many ballots taken before a winner was declared. The delegates actually did something.  I predict the Democrat convention will also be a ho-hum party.  Conventions should have more real action.   Back to my book.
