Its about time for the kids to head back to school.  Now the school supplies are far different then they were when I went to achool. Now they are carrying smartphones, laptops and tablets (the electronic kind).  A recent tidbit of information tells about a poll taken among those who will start school and 42 percent of those asked, said they would rather have new electronic gadgets than new clothes to begin school .  

Looks like they are much like their parents.  I still see many motoreists tooling around town in the morrning with telephones clutched against their ear in one hand and hopefully some part of the steering wheel clutched in the other.  Lets hope their driving skills will compensate for their lack of attention to driving.
