(Baltimore, MD)  --  A unique name has been given to one of Baltimore's mounted police horses.  When the unit almost disbanded a few months ago because of budget cuts, donations started to come in to keep it going.  One donation from 7-Eleven of five-thousand dollars, won them the right to name a horse, Slurpie.  Officer Kelly Steinhorn will be patrolling the streets on Slurpie.  The 7-Eleven, at the marketplace downtown, will be keeping apples and carrots in stock for the police horses.
