(Robbinsdale, MN) -- A sad ending to an uplifting story out of east-central Minnesota this week. Ninety-four-year old William Lepsch has died after being rescued with the help of a hunting dog outside his home in Pine City. Effie, the dog, took off from her leash and found Lepsch, who had fallen in the snow, unconscious and frozen to the ground. The elderly man was taken to a Twin Cities area hospital but died Wednesday due to the effects of hypothermia and his injuries.
