The motto at Mapleview is "if you can bring it, we can see it." As a testimony to this, we have a large client base of exotic pets. We see numerous ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs and birds.

We've performed goat c-sections at the clinic. One client has an exotic animal farm with Lemurs, African Civets, Galapagos Tortoises, and Bobcats, to name a few of the animals. We see several birds each week at the clinic ranging in size from Lovebirds to Macaws. However, Dr Bader does not see snakes, spider or scorpions.

Jim attends the WEZAM conference each year in Wisconsin to learn current techniques in Avian and exotic medicine.
