Strangers say the worst things to pregnant women

by Nikki Montgomery

I read this blog: Rants From Mommyland  and this is so true!

On numerous occasions I have found myself brushing off not so cool comments from strangers. Some examples:

At Country Fest (which was held at the end of June) a woman said, "Oh no don't get up you look like you're ready to pop." I was only 6 months pregnant at the time.

At the gas station a gray haired man watched me put creamer in my coffee then said, "You really shouldn't be drinking that it's bad for the baby." It was decaf, but I didn't tell him that.

I have gotten the "You don't even look pregnant" from people I know and I too have wondered, "What exactly does that mean?" Maybe I just look fat today instead.

Please don't touch my belly. If you ask I may say okay, but I'm probably still not comfortable with it unless you're my close friend or my family member. My mother in law doesn't even touch my belly.

Do you have any annoying stranger experiences you'd like to share? I'd love to read them please comment below.
