Louie’s Beer Cheese Dip

One 16 oz. package cream cheese (soften)

2 cups medium sharp cheddar cheese shredded

One pkg. Original Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix

2 chopped green onions

½ cup beer. Don’t use light or heavy beers. PBR or Blatz works just fine

Pour half cups worth of beer in a bowl & set aside for a few minutes to let the head settle.

Combine the Hidden Valley dry mix, cream cheese and most of the cheddar cheese in a medium sized bowl. Reserve a little cheddar to sprinkle on top.

Slowly mix in beer until fully blended. Sprinkle the chopped green onion and remaining cheddar on top, cover and refrigerate. It’s best after a couple hours in the fridge. Great with veggies too.
