Four Hope Football Players Land Preseason National Recognition

Four Hope College football players have received preseason honors from USA College Football.

Three members of the Flying Dutchmen were chosen NCAA Division III Preseason First Team All-Americans by USA College Football: punter Dean DeVries, offensive lineman Joe Droppers and linebacker Cody Lindemulder.

Offensive lineman Cal Livingway was named a USA College Football Third Team Preseason All-American.

DeVries is a junior from Grand Rapids, Michigan (Grandville HS). He is a two-time, All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association First-Team selection.

Droppers is a senior from Kalamazoo, Michigan (Portage Northern HS). He also is a two-time, All-MIAA First Team honoree.

Lindemulder is a senior from Lake Odessa, Michigan (Lakewood HS). He was an All-MIAA First Team Player last season.

Livingway is a senior from Dearborn, Michigan (Dearborn HS). He received All-MIAA Second-Team honors last season.

The Flying Dutchmen kick off the 2014 season on Saturday, September 6, at Monmouth (Illinois) College.
