Grand Valley State swept a basketball doubleheader in Hammond from Purdue Northwest last night. Paige VanStee’s 15 points led the women to victory in the opener, 91-44. Mason Docks tallied 23 points as the Lakers took the men’s nightcap, 85-76. GVSU’s teams are in Detroit to face Wayne State tomorrow afternoon.

Will Riley came off of the bench to score 20 points as the visiting Washington Wizards humbled the Pistons last night, 126-117. Detroit welcomes the New York Knicks to Little Caesars Arena this evening.
