CARLTON, TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The body of a fisherman missing since August 21 has been found after apparently drowning on Middle Lake in Barry County’s Carlton Township.
The Barry County Sheriff’s Department says 56 year old William Reagan was fishing on his kayak around 8:30 p.m. August 21. A short time later, another boater found the kayak floating empty.
Kalamazoo County Dive Team, Great Lakes Search and Rescue, and other area agencies joined the search. Reagan’s body was found at approximately 5:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon after an eight day search.
